The Farm, Grounds and Facilities.

	Thorne Farm is a dairy farm set in 360 acres of grass and woodland, home to at least 350 cows. Visitors can watch the milking in a state of the art, 40 cow rotary milking parlour, installed in 1997. Free range eggs are available to purchase in the laundry room, which is where our local tourist information is situated. Larger freezer facilities are available in the laundry room as well.


			Wet or dry there is always somewhere for the children to escape to and have a game of table tennis or pool, leaving time for the rest of the family to enjoy the quiet peaceful surroundings. There is separate family room with TV and Video facilities.



		There is a vast area of grassland at Thorne Manor which is available for for guests to use. Children may play safely on the grass whilst the rest of the family soak up the sun.

	The Adventure Garden is home to swings, slide and climbing frames and a separate area for the little ones. There is also a paved seating area with chairs and tables and bricked BBQs. For those chillier evenings heaters will be available.
