A farmstead has been on this site, deep in the Devonshire countryside for over a thousand years and the farm is listed in the Doomsday Book. Although a fire in 1820 destroyed the old manor house,part of the original 14th Century memorial chapel remains and was incorporated into the existing farmhouse.
